Roger R. Mahabir

Chairman & Chief Executive Officer

 

 

 

Roger Mahabir is the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Tracker Networks Inc. where he leads all aspects of Tracker Network's business strategy and execution.

 

Roger was most recently Chairman and Chief Executive of Assurent Secure Technologies where he managed the transformation of this 60 person products and data services company into a highly profitable, high growth (700% over 4 yrs) operating entity with multiple recurring revenue streams, innovative and competitive new security products and a global business model, culminating in a successful sale to Telus Corporation in 2006.

 

Roger was previously the Chief Information Officer at RBC Capital Markets (Royal Bank Canada) where he served for over 5 years. He is recognized as one of the industry’s top technology leaders, having served in senior executive positions that include four CIO roles with Fortune 500 companies in Financial Services, Government, Manufacturing, and Retail. His technology achievements have won international acclaim and have been recognized by the Smithsonian. He was inducted into the Canadian Information Productivity Hall of Fame (1995) for his innovation and delivery at Suncor/Sunoco, General Electric and Toronto Police.

 

Outside commitments have included involvement with several community organizations, charities and schools. Roger served as both President of the Business Advisory Council and a Member of the Board of Governors at the University of Waterloo. Roger has been a member of the Council on Information Management, a member of the Conference Board of Canada and Chairman and CEO of Alternative Computer Training (ACT) for the Disabled.

 

Roger serves as a Board Member and a Business Advisor to the Senior Management and boards of several Corporations in the US, Canada and Europe. Roger is also President and Chief Executive Officer of Technology Innovations Inc., a successful Information Technology services and consulting firm established in 1991.

 

Roger is a longtime wine lover and he is currently building a vineyard with 8500 vines in a new wine growing region in southeastern Ontario.
